bart peter gazzola works in digital media, both moving and still his work has been exhibited at alternator gallery (kelowna), floating gallery (now platform, in winnipeg), gallery 44 (toronto) and at the mendel art gallery (saskatoon), although he is perhaps best known for the exhibition Table Manners at the Kenderdine gallery. he has curated exhibits for aka and the photographers gallery, played in the collections of the art gallery of windsor and the kenderdine gallery, and worked at artcite, aka gallery, video verite and paved art + new media he was also editorial chair for BlackFlash Magazine for nearly three years he is engaged in a curatorial project for AKA gallery for the Fall of 2010 critical writings have appeared in blackflash, newwest review and sundry other publications, and he is the host and producer of The A Word on CFCR 90.5 FM, which is available for download at the following link. Archived shows stretch back some time. he is also the visual arts critic for Planet S Magazine, and a significant archive of reviews can be found at their site. he sometimes teaches new media at the university of saskatchewan, and in the most recent poll was named best instructor in the department of art and art history. |
